About Jeremy Ey

Jeremy Ey is a higher education systems administrator with a focus on end user computing and virtualization. Prior to this Jeremy was an instructor, teaching courses in Information Technology and Web Design. Jeremy holds BS (05) and MS (07) degrees in Computer Science from Tennessee Technological University. For complete details on Jeremy’s background, please see his resume or LinkedIn profile.

Jeremy is an active participant in the virtualization community. This includes an active Twitter presence, @kayakerscout, as well as participating in VMware User Group (VMUG) activities. He regularly attends events hosted by the Nashville and East Tennessee Region VMUG communities. He has presented at Nashville, East Tennessee Region, and Minneapolis VMUG events. Additionally, Jeremy has been a presenter for several online vendor hosted events. Jeremy’s participation in the community has resulted in his recognition as a VMware vExpert, and a VMware EUC Champion.

Jeremy holds multiple certifications in both desktop and mobility as well as data center virtualization. Most notably, Jeremy is recognized as a VMware Certified Implementation Expert – Desktop and Mobility (VCIX6-DTM), a VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV), and a Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate.
